72-Hour Kits

72-HOUR EMERGENCY KITS

72-Hour Kits are an absolute necessity for absolutely every family and every situation.

Getting enough food, water, clothing, tarp, sleeping bag, and various little lifesaving items can make a difference between a bad situation becoming better or a bad situation becoming absolutely terrible.

Over the years, as my family has grown, we have created numerous 72-hour kits. It's funny as we look back over the years when we've gone back into one of our bags labeled for one of the kids and realized that they are now 5'10" and no longer 4 feet tall. We've had many good laughs over the years regarding that issue.

It's impossible to state how valuable a 72-hour kit can be to you or your family. Whether they are stored in your house for easy retrieval or in the back of a car or pickup truck, they provide irreplaceable security and confidence.

The more well prepared a 72-hour kit is, the better your life will be when some disaster happens. It's incredible how many things can happen to cause you to need one. Even if you don't do anything else on this website, this one thing can help you in many ways deal with emergencies.

While I have shown here several pre-made and prepackaged kits for sale from various vendors, you can make one yourself. You don't have to buy anything from someone else. In fact, that's the recommended solution because you know what's in there, and hopefully, you know how to use it. A lot of these kits have all kinds of things that are cheaply made and should not be depended on.

Below is a list you can download and print out yourself to provide you with the information you need on what to put together. The more time you take gathering all of this information and materials into a backpack, bag, tote, or something else you can carry in an emergency, the better your life will be. It really helps with Spiritual Preparation too!
