Pressurized Jerry Can Water Filter

The Pressurized Jerry Can water filter from HydroBlu is a lightweight system that allows for easy carry for filling from almost any water source. The entire purification process is automated by pressurizing the Jerry Can with the non-electric hand pump.

The low-resistance pumping action gives a nearly effortless experience so that even a young child could pressurize the system. Pressurizing the Jerry Can pushes the unfiltered water through the innovative two-stage filter system and produces better tasting, clear filtered water for cooking, drinking, or any other use.

The Jerry Can has a superior flow rate of 1 gallon in 3 minutes and also comes with 2 storage compartments for extra Activated Carbon Filters.

•High Precision Filtration Technology Adopts innovative 5-stage filtration. Ultrafiltration membrane, PP cotton, KDF, and activated carbon in the filter element can ensure 0.01-micron ultra-high precision filtration; It can effectively reduce chlorine, heavy metals, chemical impurities, sediment, and other large particles, and can improve the taste. Passed FDA standard test, FCC, UL certification.

•Full Automatic | All Day. Button can be easily pressed to clean water in an outdoor environment; In the process of getting water outdoors, freeing your hands, you can pack your bags, set up tents, cook, etc. The emergency light makes it easy to get water outdoors at night.

•Fast and Long Endurance. Ultrafast purified water flow of 700ml (23 oz.) per minute. Built-in large capacity lithium battery, one charge can purify 168000ml(5681 oz.) of water, enough for 10-to-15-day backpacking and multiple people to use at the same time. It can be powered in multiple ways: mobile power supply, solar panel, vehicle power supply, etc.

•Light, Small, and Portable. Only weighs 350g and is small in size; The multi-functional storage bag can store all the accessories, and can be easily hung on the backpack, belt, trousers, etc.

•Filter Water Anywhere. Turn rainwater, spring water, lake water, and river water into clean drinking water. Ideal for hiking, camping, backpacking, and international travelers who need clean drinking water.Add it to your backpack list now and get ready to go!

•Make an impact: for every Life Straw product purchased, a school child in need receives safe drinking water for an entire school year

NOTES ON WATER STORAGE

1-If you store water that has gone through our regular city water treatment plant, it needs no further purification. The chlorine process that was used to purify it will last for some time. It is recommended that you refresh the water every year. When purification is needed, please check on the many ways to economically do this and still be safe: 5-8 drops of Chlorine Bleach per Gal, Iodine, Boiling, etc.

2-If you store water in plastic barrels or jugs make sure that they are built for that purpose, are BPH-free, and have not had something else in them before. Make sure that you do not allow light to come in otherwise mold will grow. If you use large barrels and place them outside, only fill them 90% full to allow room for expansion if they freeze. If a 55-gallon drum freezes this way, it will not break. It can also be rolled when it is frozen and brought inside to thaw out. But be warned, a 55-gallon drum with 50 gallons of water and will weigh over 400 pounds. It is recommended that if you can afford it, buy smaller jugs that you can more easily move around. For large barrels, you will need a pump to get out the water-$19.

3-The average person needs a minimum of 1 gallon per day to survive. An absolute minimum would be a three-day supply with a highly recommended minimum of 14-day supply per person. This is truly a minimum because the average person today uses over 140 gallons per day for cooking, showering, lawn care, etc.

4-If there is an earthquake in our area it would not take much to contaminate our water system and a shut-off valve is recommended to turn off the water that comes into your house to prevent contamination.

5-There is some water storage available in every home including the hot water heater, the backs of toilets, water pipes, the refrigerator, etc. Make sure that you do not use any water in the back of the toilet that has had any kind of disinfectant or coloring tablets put in them. They are poisonous.

6-The only two brands of water filter with which to safely filter out almost every contaminant: the Berkey and the JerryCan. They are more expensive than most but there is a reason for that: the Berkey is made with stainless steel (which will prevent mold buildup) and the filters of both will filter out almost anything. You can put just about the worst kind of water in these and out will come fresh clean water. The military uses these products overseas and they swear by them because they will take out viruses, radiation, poisons, almost anything. (Please see download below that shows how to make your own water distiller).

7-A good way starts storing water in your home is to keep all of the plastic jugs that you use for soda pop or purified water. If you use the 2L jugs they can be easily rinsed out and stored in a variety of places in your home. Do not use milk jugs for many reasons. You can get 1 Gal Crystal Springs at the Dollar Store for, yes $1. Do NOT store on Concrete! Put something under it like a wood palette or wood planks.

Another Great Class!

OUR WATER FILTRATION/PURIFICATION AND STORAGE CLASS

Cheryl Dinnell did a great job teaching our class on July 29, 2022. There were about 25 in attendance and the students were treated to someone who had thoroughly prepared for leading the group. She had about 50 examples of things to do and look out for. We thank her for her efforts and time well spent in preparing the lesson. All of her notes are shown below and are available for everyone who wants them.

If you attended, feel free to leave your comments below about this class.
